What types of ribbon are used when making HangTight Headbands?

There are three kinds of ribbon used when making a HangTight Headband.  Jacquard ribbon has a textured finish with the design embroidered (not printed) on the ribbon.  Grosgrain ribbon has a flat finish with designs printed right into the fabric of the ribbon.  Unique ribbons are just that, unique!  They don't fall into either category and are made of various materials. Velvet ribbon is used in the backing of all HangTight Headbands and gives it the "stay put" quality.

How can a HangTight Headband be a "One Size Fits All" type product?

A HangTight Headband has a thin elastic which holds the decorative portion of the ribbon together.  This portion of the headband sits at the base of the neck.  Since the decorative ribbon portion of the headband isn't stretchy, the elastic portion stretches to fit the person wearing the Hang Tight. 

How does a HangTight Headband differ from other "non-slip" headbands?

There are many types of headbands out there.  Some are made of plastic and are heavy.  Others are made of fabric, but are silky and slip off the head.  Some are made with a rubbery type material that is worn closest to the head, but can snag hair to stay in place.  Hang Tight Headbands have a soft velvet ribbon which is used to back each decorative ribbon and keeps it in place beautifully!

How do I care for HangTight Headbands?

You can care for your HangTight Headbands easily by handwashing with a mild soap and let drip dry!

I have some ribbon or an idea that I would like made into a HangTight Headband.  Do you do special orders?

Yes, I do make special orders.  I can sew embellishments onto HangTight Headbands or can create one to match an idea you had in mind.  If you have a specific ribbon that you would like me to make a headband with, that can be done too!  Simply mail me the ribbon and I will mail you back a HangTight Headband!  Please contact me through the "Contact Me" link for details.

What is the HangTight Headband Shipping Policy?

HangTight Headbands are shipped USPS First Class Mail anywhere in the United States or Canada.  A flat rate shipping system has been set up as follows:

Within the US   

1 headband = $2.00 S&H

2- 5 headbands = $3.00 S&H

6-10 headbands = $4.00 S&H

11+ headbands = FREE

Canada 

1 headband = $2.50 S&H

2- 5 headbands = $3.50 S&H

6-10 headbands = $4.50 S&H 

11+ headbands = FREE

What is the HangTight Headband Return Policy?

You may return an item for refund or replacement within 14 days of the shipment date. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. All returns must be accompanied by the packing slip. When you return an item, follow the instructions on the packing slip, and most importantly, please indicate the reason for the return. You may want to insure your return; we cannot be responsible for lost or misdirected returns. If you paid for your order by credit card, a credit will be issued and will appear on your billing statement.

When can I expect my order to be shipped?

You can expect your HangTight Headband(s) to be shipped within 3-5 days of your order.  All items are shipped via USPS First Class mail.  Delivery times vary by location.
